For more than forty-five years, I have worked across technology, entrepreneurship, consultancy, leadership and coaching.
I have led teams, built businesses, advised organisations and supported people through change.
Along the way, I learned many of the lessons leadership books teach. I also learned some they rarely mention.
The anxiety that success can hide. The cost of carrying too much responsibility for too long. The impact burnout can have on your health, family and sense of identity.
And the quiet truth that recovery is not weakness. It is often where the most important growth begins.
